FERNDALE, MI – Summer E. Parker, Supervising Attorney, was recently featured in the Oakland County Legal News publication for her participation in the New Lawyers Committee (NLC) and the LOCA (Lawyers of a Certain Age) Committee of the Oakland County Bar Association “Summer Splash” on Thursday, August 25, at One-Eyed Betty’s in Ferndale. The event kicked off the NLC’s fund raising efforts which will support the Frank C. Perez Youth Fund this year. The Frank C. Perez Youth Fund goal is to provide educational, scientific, and recreational support of youth age 8 to 18 years of age, by promoting community education, supporting cultural exposure to the arts and other educational and recreational activities in the community. Summer E. Parker joined Potestivo & Associates, P.C. in September 2009 as a mediation specialist and law clerk before being hired on as an Associate Attorney in November 2009. Summer earned her B.A. at Miami University , where she double majored in Political Science and Women’s Studies. Following her undergraduate studies, she attended Capital University Law School, where she earned her J.D. with concentrations in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Criminal Litigation.
