The day-long program features sessiods on student loans, Law v. Siegel, a Supreme Court update, various issues in chapter 7 cases and a plenary session on witness preparation, as well as a case law update. Ten bankruptcy judges from the Sixth Circuit were among the expert panelists this year. Topics covered by Attorney Ravenscroft include claims in Chapter 13 issues, both from the creditor’s point of view and from the debtor’s point of view, as well as issues regarding priority tax claims. It is a must-attend program for all Michigan-area consumer bankruptcy practitioners!

Noel Ravenscroft began at Potestivo & Associates, P.C. in 2012 as a Law Clerk and was promoted to Associate Attorney in 2014, primarily servicing the firm’s Bankruptcy Department.
In 2013, Noel completed his J.D. at Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where he was an Honor’s Scholar Recipient and graduated Cum Laude. In addition, Noel is a member of the American Bar Association, Macomb County Bar Association, and the Oakland County Bar Association. He demonstrates his commitment to the local community in volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Special Olympics of Michigan, and participating in the numerous fundraisers and community service projects that Potestivo & Associates, P.C. sponsors each year.
