Shannon Hughes brings over 30 years of experience working in the legal and title industry. Shannon began her career at Potestivo & Associates, P.C. in 2007 as a Michigan REO Coordinator. Since then, she has been promoted to many different roles, including Illinois REO Coordinator and Remote Closer. She most recently served as the firm’s Illinois REO/Closing Services Supervisor before assuming her current position of Illinois REO/Closing Services Manager.
Shannon says that her biggest career accomplishments involved taking her experience from her previous career paths and using those skills here at Potestivo & Associates, P.C., where she now serves as Manager. In one of her previous roles, she was also recognized by the Oakland County Bar Association as a paralegal and granted membership due to her experience in the legal field, and not just based on her education.
She enjoys volunteering in the community including at the local food bank, Hospitality House of Walled Lake, TheDrewCrew (a foundation started to help a young man in the community who became paralyzed in high school), local municipal activities for Commerce Township and Walled Lake, Rebuild Together of Oakland County, War Dogs Memorial in South Lyon and numerous fundraisers to help members of the community in need along with national charities like St. Jude, Alzheimer’s Association and ALS Association of Michigan.
