Rochester, MI – We are excited to announce that Summer Parker, Supervising Attorney, and Michael Woods, Assistant Vice President – Managing Attorney, have both been selected into the first class of “40 Under 40” for the MMLA. The MMLA received nearly 80 nominations! As this program continues, the group will be refining the selection criteria and communicating with the membership. For this round, the organization prioritized current members, and looked at the involvement of their respective organizations and of the nominees themselves. If they have participated in events or have received other external recognitions, that factored in as well.
Summer E. Parker joined Potestivo & Associates, P.C. in September 2009 as a mediation specialist and law clerk before being hired on as an Associate Attorney in November 2009. Summer earned her B.A. at Miami University , where she double majored in Political Science and Women’s Studies. Following her undergraduate studies, she attended Capital University Law School, where she earned her J.D. with concentrations in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Criminal Litigation.
Michael J. Woods joined Potestivo & Associates, P.C. in 2006, and is the Supervising Attorney of the Foreclosure and Loss Mitigation Departments. He assists in a variety of matters, including: reinstatement quotes, redemption calculations, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, affidavits of abandonment, waivers of redemption, and quitclaim deeds. Michael has learned that superior results can be effectively achieved through direct communication with our clients and their borrowers, helping to reduce the costs associated with the foreclosure and loss mitigation processes for both parties.
