Potestivo & Associates, P.C. has a particularly special bond with Cornerstone Schools of Detroit. Since 2010, several of our staff members have taken part in their program Partner Mornings. Each quarter, we spend two hours at the school, where our staff members are matched one-on-one with a student in grades Kindergarten through eighth. We use this time to listen to the child about what they are working on in school, how things are going in their life and offer mentorship and tell them about events in our own jobs and offer insight into our career path.
Cornerstone Schools combines education with a culture based curriculum for preschool through 12th grade. Measured outcomes, a rigorous academic curriculum and small class size are proven benefits of an 11-month school year to create a Cornerstone-quality education.
