Melissa Z. Prantzalos joined Potestivo & Associates, P.C. in January 2021 and is based in the Rochester, Michigan Office. She serves as the Supervising Litigation Attorney for the firm’s Litigation Department.

Melissa brings over 13 years of experience representing loan servicers, banks and other financial institutions. While at the University of Detroit Mercy Law School, she worked at the United States Attorney’s Office as a legal support staff assistant, and completed an externship as a Judge Clerk to the Honorable Richard L. Caretti at the Macomb County Circuit Court.

Melissa graduated from University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government.  She earned her Juris Doctor degree from University of Detroit Mercy Law School.

Melissa is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan. In 2018, Melissa was a Speaker at the Michigan Court Officer, Deputy Sheriff, and Process Servers Association Training Seminar. In 2019, she had articles published in both the Default Servicing News and Michigan Real Property Review.
