October 2009, Potestivo & Associates hires new associate attorney, Herbert R. Worthy, Jr. who brings extensive real estate law experience to the team in Rochester Hills, Michigan.

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich., October 15, 2009  - Potestivo & Associates, P.C., an award-winning legal services provider to the default servicing industry, is pleased to announce the hiring of a new associate attorney, Herbert R. Worthy, Jr.  Brian A. Potestivo, president and founder, made the announcement.  Herb Worthy joins the firm’s expanding default servicing department and will specialize in the Landlord/Tenant practice area.

“We are excited to have Herb join our team,” said Brian Potestivo, “his background in real estate law is diverse and he brings the experience necessary to benefit our expanding practice.”

Prior to joining Potestivo & Associates, Herb Worthy served as Corporate Counsel for the largest agent of Chicago Title Insurance, where he managed a team of closers, examiners, title processors and closing file processors in addition to representing clients in all legal matters.  Herb Worthy also had the opportunity to practice in the area of Private Adoptions and Estate Planning.

Herb Worthy is a graduate of the Detroit College of Law and admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and the United States Supreme Court.  Prior to law school, Herb Worthy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh.  Herb Worthy was also involved with the law show “Legally Speaking,” a co-production of the Macomb County Bar Association and Sterling Heights Television. He is an active participant in the Macomb County Bar Association and the Real Property Section of the State Bar of Michigan.  Herb Worthy also coaches Developmental Basketball and Science Olympics for his daughter’s school.
