Recently, Potestivo & Associates was named to the 2008 “Detroit Free Press: Top Workplaces” list.  An honor the firm is proud of, as it shows our employees appreciate the work environment and collaborative team spirit just as much as we value them.  The environment offers comfortable spaces, such as the TV alcove in the new break room, and opportunities to take a break and play video games.

We also offer several opportunities throughout the year for attorneys and staff to socialize outside of the office.  Each year our entire team attends a Detroit Tigers baseball game on a typically sunny Thursday afternoon, and treated to a lunch banquet in the Tiger Club and great seats behind home plate. Our annual Potestivo Christmas Party at a local establishment has been an anticipated event on a yearly basis. Employees are encouraged to bring a guest to share an evening of socializing, great food and drink, in addition to the generous raffle at the conclusion of the evening.

Our firm also takes part in several fundraising / team-building events throughout the year.  Team Potestivo has been represented well at The American Cancer Society's 'Relay for Life' and the 'Making Strides Against Breast Cancer' walk on Belle Isle. Our employees have raised thousands of dollars for worthy causes as they build the firm's culture by socializing and interacting outside the office.
